  • Identify what digital literacy means and why it is important
  • Evaluate Web sites from the framework of digital literacy, including discriminating information for validity and reliability
  • Know the types of Internet searches and how to most effectively use them
  • Create a lesson to use with students around digital literacy

Evidence of Learning

Participants will conduct an Internet search on a given topic, decide which Internet search tool is best for that search, and write or modify a lesson plan for the classroom that focuses on digital literacy skills.
